About Us

Royal Palace School, founded in 2005, is a private, coeducational school offering a program for students from nursery through grade 12. The school year is comprised of two semesters extending from June to March. Located on the hills of Jamkhandi, the campus is in a semi urban setting and offers a central, easily accessible environment which is removed from the daily congestion of mega cities. The school serves as a gathering area for the community around North Karnataka and bordering states of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.

Founder: Late Shri. Siddu Nyamagouda

Shri Siddu Nyamagouda, an Indian politician and Founder of Royal Palace School, notably served as Minister of State for Coal in the Government of India. He gained recognition for leading the construction of India's first private dam, Shrama Bindu Sagar, providing irrigation and employment opportunities. His political career saw him serve as an MLA and MLC, winning elections multiple times from Jamakhandi constituency. Demised in 2018, leaving behind a legacy of social and economic upliftment.

Admissions

Children may be considered for entrance to the following schools/grades if, by June 1st of the school year, they have reached the age of

• 3 years for Play home /Nursery

• 4 to 5 years for Kindergarten / LKG & UKG

• 6 years for Grade 1

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

HOW TO APPLY

Interested parents are requested to visit the Campus. Prospectus and Form can be obtained directly from school on all working days between 9Am to 5 PM on Payment of Rs.300/-. The following documents are to be attached along with the form.

• A recent Passport size photograph to be affixed in the box provided in the application form.

• Three extra Passport size photographs to be enclosed separately.

• TC in original for admission from classes II onwards.

• Photocopies of progress Report Card.

• Attested Photocopy of Caste Certificate

• Adhaar Card.

Our Parent NGO

In the year 1989 the farmers of Jamkhandi and Athani taluka of Bagalkot and Belgaum districts respectively united under the banner “KRISHNA TEERA RAYAT SANGH” (KTRS) to construct a barrage across Krishna River. The unique feature of the project was that the farmers raised funds on their own without any Governmental support and completed the project on time. This unique experiment of “Self Help” being the first of its kind in the country has resulted in the irrigation of 35,000 acres of land and provides drinking water for nearly 3 lakh residents. This effort has resulted in the economic prosperity and self reliance for the people. With the empowerment of the farmers and the next logical phase was the settling up of the Jamkhandi sugars Ltd. To enable farmers process the sugar cane in-house. With the increased standard of living the need was then felt to provide for good health and Education facility for the community. With this concern under the auspicious of the KTRS a board of directors was constituted to start an English medium school called the Royal Palace School. The school, started in 2005 is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education; CBSE has around 1150 students from Nursery to class X

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS

School Result

101 students appeared for the X CBSE board exam and for 13th consecutive year we gave 100% result. Rehaan Parathnalli secured 95.40%, Sinchana Dashwant secured 94.50% and Haripriya Chougala got 94 %. 16 students secured 90 and above. 25 students secured between 80 to 89%. 31 students were in the range 70 to 80%.

Interschool Competitions

In Interschool Competitions Our students had participated in variety of interschool events held at Harugeri and bagged first place in group dance, second place in QUIZ and Janapad song competition, third place in science Exhibition. In interschool speech competition held in Rabkavi Arush Bidri of 4th standard bagged second position

Cluster Level Taekwondo

Brahmi Khidrapur's of class 8th has made remarkable achievement in Taekwondo adds another chapter to our winning streak. His dedication and skill led him to secure the second position at the cluster level competition, earning him a well-deserved spot at the national level. Undeterred by the fierce competition, Brahmi showcased exceptional talent once again, clinching the second place at the nationals held in Haryana, affirming our school's commitment to nurturing excellence in both academics and sports

Cluster Level Kabbaddi

Hosting the state-level Cluster VIII Kabbaddi Tournament was a remarkable experience for our school community. Welcoming 96 schools and over 1000 participants, it marked a significant milestone in our journey. The success didn't stop there; our Kabbaddi team's outstanding performance earned them second place, securing a spot in the prestigious national-level competition, showcasing our commitment to both sportsmanship and organizational excellence

The Annual Gathering holds significant importance for every school, offering students a platform to showcase their talents before a large audience. During our school's Annual Day celebration, the venue is adorned with elegant decorations. A splendid stage, complete with a professional sound system, awaits the performers. Guests are warmly greeted with floral arrangements before the commencement of the program.
